Just got approved for this card. Wasn't sure that the approv I'm not certain of the credit limit or the APR. The rep stated that the CL would be between 1K and 10K. I will update when I know more. The only downside of the online application process was that they pulled all three CBRs.

I applied for this card and got denied. I think this card may be difficult to get. They check Experian. I applied for the store card.

LOVE Nordstrom and Dillards, but I always have to shop online because where I live only has Lord And Taylor. What do you folks think of this bad boy? KEEP IN MIND THAT I PAY EVERYTHING I\'VE CHARGED OFF AT THE END OF THE MONTH, SO PLEASE, NO ONE TELL ME I'M IN OVER MY HEAD...HAHA! But really, I don't even need credit cards. I make plenty of money. So does my husband (who is going to kill me for having so many credit cards). I just need my credit lines to add up to over $5,000.00 and Lending Tree advises that although inquiries hurt, it is only 5% of your score, and if you are trying to build your credit, you must apply for credit and enhance your existing lines. Only use 30% of what you need.

I have 6 Inquiries at the moment and I hear Nordstrom is inquiry-sensitive.

And if, oh if, I apply for this thing and do not get approved, will they consider me for the store card?

Lemme know, peeps. Don't want to waste a precious inquiry.

Okay, so I applied for this card with the hopes to Balance Transfer 2 of my other smaller cards and cancel the other 2 out. After reading the Credit Card Information about the APR's on the Finance Globe site and also on the Nordstrom's Website, I thought ... let me try this one.

I applied online 2 weeks ago, got the message 7-10 review response. I received the card in the mail, approved for the Nordstrom Visa with a $5000K credit limit. I thought that’s great!....until I looked at the APR....which is a whoppin' 18%. According to the website that places me in the last Tier, not to good considering the lowest APR is like 4% with Nordstrom.

Anyways, so far the online account manager is great. I set up my banking information online the same day I activated the card. No annual fee.

Rockin35s' Info: FICO 714 with Equifax as of 03/09, last credit hit was January 2009, no derogatory items, no bankruptcy, but debt to income is a little high, 11 hard inquiries from 2007 dropped off my report as of 04/03/09.

I hope this information helps someone that may be considering applying with Nordstrom.

I was approved for the store retail card in December. At the time the CSR said I was not eligible for either the Platinum Visa or the Signature Visa. I was disappointed, but I really wanted an account with Nordstrom. Also, the CSR said I could call in 6 months to request an upgrade. Approved for 2K at Tier III pricing (14.9%). Anyway, this week I spoke with a colleague that once worked for Nordstrom Bank (the issuer of the accounts) and was informed that I should try to call now and that sometimes the system will auto approve with as little as one month of activity. I called and was told that I was eligible for the Platinum Visa! Limit of 4k (Tier III pricing; 14.9% for store charges; 18.9% for all others)! Not worried about the interest rate since I've been paying off in full every month since I eradicated a ton of debt this past year. On the bad side...when I applied in December, they pulled ALL 3 credit reports. No hits though on the upgrade. FICOs: TU=723; Equifax=756 I'll still call in 6 months for the Signature Visa. I want the travel rewards!
